Star Wars!

Dear Lord, I want a Star Wars Tattoo. Thanks.

Seriously though, Star Wars tattoos are freaking awesome and everyone should get one and just love Star Wars together.

Ok, game face on now.

If anyone wants a Star Wars tattoo, be careful what you choose and get a good artist. I believe that Star Wars tattoos can be some of the most creative ones out there. They range from black and gray to colored, symbols to full characters to ships, and everything in between. The tattoo I showed above is a standard character (Storm Trooper for the dweebs who don’t know) but changed to a hand-drawn look that makes it original.

Some of the easiest tattoos within the Star Wars lore are the symbols shown below. Not all are listed here, but this gives a good idea of what many choose from.

For my future tattoo, I plan on getting the Rebel Alliance symbol from the top left hand corner. I imagine a black outline with a colorful galaxy print in the center. Coming from around the back of the symbol, I imagine an outline of either an X-wing Fighter or an A-wing Fighter, as those are two of the many ships flown by the Rebel Alliance.

I have loved Star Wars since I was a kid and I always knew I wanted a tattoo that symbolized it. There are so many styles I have seen, but I want a classic symbol done up to my imagination. My boyfriend has always preferred the Galactic Empire symbol, but HATES the Imperialists. In his words, they are “straight up Nazis” and I can’t really argue with him.

Maybe next I will mention the tattoos my boyfriend wants? The world may never know.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.

Flowers

Flowers. They may be one of the most common tattoos you see out there, but each one is special. Flowers have meanings that can range from a birth month flower, state flower, or something entirely different. My best friend has a ring of flowers on her ankle that was done for her father that passed away. The flowers include the two that represent his birth month. I plan to get 2 flower tattoos myself: one of a rose for my mom (both her middle name and her birth month flower) and one of a lotus flower with morse code saying “sisters”. It’s one that both my best friend and I are getting (pictures to come). While flowers can seem so basic to some people, you never know why that person decided on that flower. Yes, for some people it could really be just because it is “pretty”, but who are you to judge on someone else’s tattoo? The beauty of tattoos is that it can be anything you want and can either be something meaningful or simply because you like it. Like myself, I have 2 tattoos that represent my 2 favorite book series: The Mortal Instruments and Harry Potter. My first tattoo is a panda with balloons in the shape of planets. No reason behind it except I love pandas and it was unique. Flowers are something that almost everyone likes, so a lot of people get them as tattoos. Have you ever thought about getting a flower tattoo? Here’s your birth month flower and their meaning:
